Welcome to the home of the Pidge'n'Soap Rattery! We are a small rattery located in Darwin, Northern Territory. We breed fancy rats ideal for pets. Our rats are socialised at a young age so you can get the friendliest pet possible!
We breed to a strict code of ethics, which you can find more about on the information page, along with any information you might need when considering rats as pets. Everything from behaviour, diet, suitable housing and common health problems. All these things are very important for budding rat owners and lovers to know, so make sure you read it through and feel free to contact me at any time if you have any further queries!
Our rats are for pet homes only, and are not to be used for breeding or food. Live feeding is extremely dangerous for the snake and a frightened rat can inflict a lot of damage, so do the right thing and only feed humanely euthanased feeder rats!
